The program will include Diwali prayers and blessings, messages from elected officials (Councilman Brad Lander and representatives of the Mayor's Office and NYC Commission on Human Rights confirmed), dance and musical performances, and a diya (lamp) lighting ceremony in the ISKCON tradition.
