The NYC Commission on Human Rights will be hosting the South West Queens Day of Service, a day full of on-site services including legal assistance for housing, domestic violence, immigration, and discrimination as well as information on workforce development, English classes, senior services, and more on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 from 11am-3pm at P.S. 55.
This would be a Commission-led informational + on-site service fair where several City and non-City agencies to bring in services to the South West Queens communities (Richmond Hill, Ozone Park, South Ozone Park, Woodhaven). There will also be a Community Speakout session where members can express needs or concerns for their communities.
This will be a very important opportunity for the City to bring support directly to the incredibly diverse yet underserved communities of South West Queens. We are hopeful that you can join us!
If you or your organization is interested in tabling or being a service provider, please contact Sania N. Ahmed at sahmed@cchr.nyc.gov
