Dear *|FNAME|*,
Join Sadhana: Coalition of Progressive Hindus and the Caribbean Equality Project in Brooklyn Heights for our Pride Satsangh on 14 June!
Sadhana Satsanghs are our monthly inclusive, egalitarian and earth-honoring devotional gatherings. Our prayers, meditations, bhajans, pujas, and discourses may be led by individuals of any race, caste, gender, sexual orientation, and age. We invite anyone and everyone to build a spiritual community with us!
Please join Sadhana's NYC Chapter and the Caribbean Equality Project as we celebrate Pride Month. We'll catch up with each other, share stories and perspectives on the spirit of inclusivity, and chant to connect with our Divine Nature. The satsangh will end with a heartfelt puja led by Pandita Pratima Doobay.
When: Tuesday, June 14th, 6:30-8:00 pm
Where: Chapel at First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn (enter chapel at 119 Pierrepont St, Brooklyn, NY 11201)
Kindly RSVP by sending an email to info@sadhana.org!

On Tuesday, June 21st, Sadhana is excited to be sponsoring "With Love and Pride," organized by Shridevi Arts in collaboration with South Queens Women’s March and the Caribbean Equality Project.
This event will take place in the heart of Richmond Hill Queens, and kindly hosted by South Queens Women’s March! This collaborative is in honor of Pride, and Caribbean Heritage Month.
So honored are we to celebrate both of these wonderful identities, and to pay homage to those who have sacrificed much for us to live our truth, as well as to pave the way for the present and future generations to know they have the ability to exist comfortably, and there is a place for them to call sanctuary. Queer visibility is important. Taking up space is important, and Celebrating ourselves is very important!
What to expect: Music, poetry, Dance, Tassa offering, Ritual/ceremonial pieces and messages of empowerment by Queer artists, and Allies.
Venue: South Queens Women’s March - 130-01 Liberty Ave Unit 1R, Queens, NY 11419 (In the street, Not Liberty Avenue itself)
Please RSVP at the link below.

Since 2011, Sadhana has been building a progressive Hindu movement centered in social justice through community transformation, advocacy, and seva (selfless service). As we enter our eleventh year, we hope to transition from being a fully volunteer-led organization to hiring our first Executive Director, who will help us take this work to the next level.
However, we can’t do this work without your help. We hope that 2022 will be a year of tremendous growth and energy for our progressive Hindu movement. If our mission, vision, and values are meaningful to you, please consider making a donation of any amount to Sadhana today.
